Phnom Penh: On Tuesday morning, 08 July, 2025, HRCC Director, Mr. Park NamSoon met with Mr. Choi Hyun, Head of Aju Industry’s Cambodian branch, to discuss potential job opportunities for Cambodian returned migrant workers. The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to move forward with an MoU for future collaboration, including partnerships with other Korean companies operating in Cambodia.

Aju Industry—a leading construction materials company in South Korea—operates seven ready-mix concrete plants in the Seoul metropolitan area and runs ten factories and a technical research center.
Its Cambodian subsidiary, Aju Cambodia, began producing 56,000 tons of concrete utility poles annually in Phnom Penh. In 2020, the company expanded to a new 72,579 m² facility in Ponhea Leu District, Kandal Province, which now supplies up to 120,000 tons of PHC concrete piles and square and circular utility poles every year.

This partnership marks a positive step toward expanding employment opportunities and enhancing economic reintegration for the returnees in Cambodia.
