The Happy Return Center of Cambodia (HRCC) supported the organization of an Employment Forum program in Battambang province.
Battambang: On July 25, 2025, the National Employment Agency (NEA) of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, in collaboration with the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) of Battambang, at the Regional Polytechnic Institute Techo Sen Battambang, under the support of ILO and UNICEF, with funding from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China, organized an Employment Forum in Battambang province, bringing nearly 3,000 new job opportunities to students, job seekers, Cambodian migrant workers who recently returned from Thailand, and people with disabilities.
This event is organized with the aim of promoting job opportunities and recruiting staff immediately, as well as providing information on education, training and scholarships to students, job seekers, and especially the migrant workers returning from Thailand.
As results, we have identified future educational needs through interviews with 28 migrant workers who have just recently returned from Thailand.
